We are pleased to announce the AppDev Hackathon and Bootcamp taking place Oct. 27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center alongside the App Dev Conf.  Not your traditional hack, the AppDev Hackathon and Bootcamp features hands on training classes on the latest technologies and trends that can help you build better apps. New and experienced developers will learn new skills, build mobile apps, compete for prizes, and most importantly – meet people and find teammates for new or current projects.  App Dev Hack is produced in conjunction with the excellent folks over at appMobi and Mobile{Dev}Sync.

While the TDevSummit isn’t happening the App Developers Conference most certainly is – October 26-27, 2011 in Santa Clara.  The show addresses the broad implications of App development, marketing and distribution from a developers’ perspective. The conference brings together major brands, media, social networking, mobile, consumer electronic, and software platforms and, of course, the worldwide developer community.

We have made the difficult decision to postpone the TDev Summit. After encountering some unexpected scheduling conflicts, we have concluded that it would be difficult to provide the Twitter development community with the caliber of event they deserve.  We are actively exploring alternative dates for later this year, as well as options to co-locate with another event.
